The Role: Fleet Officer
The Fleet Officer will play a crucial role in our Lahore operations, overseeing the management and coordination of our fleet to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient transportation of goods. This on-site position requires a proactive individual who can balance independent decision-making with team collaboration. From procuring vehicles to optimizing routes, you’ll be at the forefront of keeping our supply chain humming, directly impacting our ability to serve customers with the freshness and reliability they expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company fleet, including vehicle assignment, tracking, and utilization to maximize efficiency.
- Vehicle Procurement: Research, evaluate, and recommend vehicles for procurement, ensuring they meet company needs for reliability, fuel efficiency, and compliance with regulations.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, coordinating with service providers and monitoring repair costs.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all fleet activities adhere to local traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies, conducting regular audits and driver training sessions.
- Performance Monitoring: Track fleet performance metrics such as fuel consumption, mileage, and delivery times, using data to identify areas for improvement.
- Route Optimization: Analyze and optimize delivery routes using GPS and logistics software to reduce costs, improve timeliness, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Delivery Coordination: Coordinate timely and accurate deliveries of goods and services, collaborating with warehouse, production, and customer service teams.
- Customer Service: Address driver and customer inquiries related to fleet operations, resolving issues promptly to maintain high service standards.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on fleet status, costs, and performance, maintaining accurate records for audits and budgeting.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Entry-level candidates welcome; experience in fleet management, logistics, transportation, or a similar role is a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle scheduling and coordination effectively.
- Proficiency in fleet management software, GPS tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for reporting).
- Strong communication skills for interacting with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and route planning principles.
- Ability to analyze data and generate insights for operational improvements.
